P2R Sneaker Ball II: Champions of Change
Why support?
P2R is a charitable 501(c)3 peer run nonprofit organization made up of real people with lived experiences who help underserved populations secure housing, employment, life skills and essential needs to improve their quality of life.
In 2024, P2R launched the Homeless to Housing Initiative (H2H) to combat increased homelessness in Lorain County. Since its inception, we have raised approximately $75,000 and assisted over 80 residents, facing a housing crisis, to retain or secure permanent housing solutions. Some of those success stories can be seen on this website and other P2R social media platforms.
This Gala supports P2R’s ongoing fundraising campaign for H2H. Our goal is to raise $125,000 in FY26/27 to assist an additional 50 residents secure or retain housing.
By purchasing a ticket, table, or sponsorship you help P2R continue our mission that addresses the housing needs of this high risk population, as well as strengthen families, support recovery, promote public safety and reduce recidivism.
In addition, the Gala provides an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the contributions of 6 impactful community change agents as recipients of a “Champion of Change Award .”
